In one of her profile photos she wore a plastic colander on her head. I thought she might “get” me. She deleted her account after I contacted her. This is how OK Stupid was born.

on the subject of colanders

Dear not Fran Klepter,

A colander fashioned from metal provides dual use protection – from thought stealing smugglers and against spoons being thrown. In your photo it looks as though you are wearing a plastic one. What does that protect you from? Conversation?

I also like the Rite of Spring. In particular that the audience rioted at the premier. We need more classical music riots.

I’m unsure when to use the hyphen. You?
